Infrastructural Details:

All classrooms are airy, well lit, and spacious fitted with glass boards and necessary electrical fixtures. 08 classrooms are provided with LCD facility.

There are 18 well-equipped labs, spread among 08 science departments.

Other Provisions:

Audio Visual Hall: – A/c hall provided with all necessary Audio-Video equipment. It has a seating capacity of 100.

Auditorium: – Venue for all major functions, It has a seating capacity of 500. Acoustically designed the hall provided with LCD/Graphics equalizer Audio unit and lighting system etc.

Ladies Comfort Room: – With all necessary basic amenities plus a T.V. set with Edusat connection the hall has recreation facilities.

Boys Comfort Room: – Boys room has the provision of News Paper, Old Magazines, Chess Board, Carom Games, etc.

Language lab: – It is boon for students who wish to improve communication skills. With 20 Net-connected & self-programmed systems the lab is always fully engaged. No fee is charged for our college students.

MASCOM Lab: – Management Secretarial practice and commerce lab is run by dept of commerce. It trains students in various skills related to finance, investment, etc. It runs a Certificate Course on Tally and UGC sponsored course on OFFICE MANAGEMENT.

Health Center: – With provisions of FIRST AID, Glucose/Electrol Powder and some basic medicines, it arranges Health checkups, Guest lectures by Doctors. Every Saturday a Doctor visit for 2hrs.

Placement Cell: – Housed in the same room with the Health center, it conducts IAS/IPS coaching classes, arranges campus interviews, personality development lectures. So far more than 500 students have been placed in various companies.

Hostels: – the Boys and Girls Hostels are located in a sub-campus located 2.5km from college on Bidar – Manahalli Road. The boy’s hostel has the capacity for 32 students and girls hostel (Under Construction) 60 students. For details contact college office.

Canteen: – Located in the backyard of College the canteen is a spacious structure & serves hygienic & subsidized food.

Co-op. Book Depot: – Subsidized stationery material and Xerox, payphone facility are provided by it.

Sports Pavilion: – INDOOR/OUTDOOR games like Table Tennis, Carom, Chess, Volley Ball, Football, Kabaddi & Cricket are played in 2.5 acre ground. INDOOR and OUTDOOR Stadiums are sanctioned by the UGC and it will be constructed within a year nearby hostel.

Skill Development Center: –Sri. Amarnath Patil, MLC has provided the financial assistance to install 19 Computer Systems, Projector and UPS to train all the students with NPTEL, SWAYAM, STP Programmes of IIT Madras and IIT Mumbai respectively. Everyday more than 100 students are visiting this center to gain the ICT knowledge. 

Women’s Cell: The Women’s Cell is a dedicated organization committed to promoting gender equality and preventing discrimination against women in society. It works towards empowering women, making them aware of their rights, and providing them with a platform to voice their concerns. The Cell has been working to raise awareness on gender equality issues. This Cell functions as the “Complaints Committee” as required by the “Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013”. 

Anti-ragging Cell: In conformity with Supreme Court judgements and directions, UGC guidelines and State Government Instructions, KASCC is following a ‘Zero-Tolerance policy’ towards ragging. Any student of KASCC accused and found guilty of ragging will be severely dealt with, by the Provisions of the Law.

Library: – The Library with a carpet area of 6000sq. ft. is segregated in Three Halls. One Hall each for Arts/Commerce & Science/ BCA & P.G. Classes. The Digital Library is the recent addition. It has 10 net Connected System and a good no of CDs. A Net Browsing Center is attached with the Library.

The Library has nearly 63,000 volumes of books, subscribes 30 Journals (National/International), 18 Magazines and 12 dailies.

  1. The user-friendly OPAC installation helps to access the book. On borrower’s card, three books for one-week duration are issued. Meritorious students are given additional books. (Location second floor)
  2. Installed D-Space for the repository of Thesis, Articles, Syllabus, Question papers, Press notes, etc..
