1. NCC was formed on the recommendation of Dr. H.N. Kunzru Committee in 1948 under NCC Act 1948. it consists of three divisions SD & JD(Boys) and SW & JW(Girls)
2. NCC of this Institution started from the year 1978 with strength of 60 cadets. But now in 2023 at NCC unit, the total strength is 108 (SD=72(Boys)+SW=36(girls))
3. Two types of training are given to cadets: Institutional level & Camp Level
